The Camp that united Western Canadian Muslims, providing inspiration and empowerment, is now back and better than ever! Camp Sunnah is a unique project designed to gather youth from across Western Canada in order to encourage and promote the way of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). This year, Camp Sunnah will not only provide a forum for discussion and networking for motivated Islamic workers, but will also include educational lectures from two very knowledgeable and charismatic scholars.

This year’s Camp Sunnah theme, after feedback from previous attendees and our scholars, will be Fiqh of Islamic Society. This is an exciting theme for us here at NYMiNK, and we can’t wait to discuss it with other camp attendees. It’s particularly relevant in this global climate, especially for Muslims living in Non-Muslim lands, and our scholars are eager to talk about this pressing issue in a contemporary perspective.
